Walk the Stourbridge Way

Walk Information

We offer short and longer walks; short walks will be between 4 and 6 miles and take around 2.5 - 3 hours. The longer, all day walks, will be from 8 - 12 miles. If you have not walked before or are unsure about your ability then we recommend that you choose one of the short, easy walks to start with.

We walk on the following days:

Tuesday mornings

Wednesday mornings

Wednesday all day

Thursday evenings - summer months only

Saturday afternoons

Sunday mornings

Sunday all day

Walk difficulty varies dependent upon the terrain, the conditions underfoot and the fitness of the individual. As a guide we provide an indication of the walk difficulty which should be used with the walk length and weather conditions to indicate the effort required.

The walks are graded as follows:

A - Difficult walks involving some challenging gradients.

B - Moderately difficult walks usually involving some gradients.

C - Easiest walks - canal tow paths or undulating countryside. Will usually involve a number of stiles.

Each grade may be modified by a + or -, eg: C- would be canal towpaths.
